Linking the ubiquitous presence of colour in our lives with human connection, these films set out to celebrate that and those that bring colour to our lives. As Brewer's Albany collection becomes 100 years old, Tilling Creative developed the concept of celebrating this with a series of spoken word pieces. Working with poetry slam champion, Solomon OB, we created three films based around the concept of Language, Meaning and the Future of Colour.
Combining spoken words on camera with people and places linked with colour. Each film has it's own subtle styling and features decorators, stylists, interior designers, students and painters. Quick cuts with handheld shooting style are used to keep the energy up and match Solomon's words whilst keeping an air of intimacy.
Shot handheld with ARRI Amira, Canon CN7 glass and EasyRig.
