What my Filmmaking blog posts will cover

Filmmaking as a term tends to refer to the overall production process. Often this may be me fulfilling all over the individual roles (sometimes referred to as a Videographer) or me leading on the production or direction. I’ll endeavour to include anything that crops up in the filmmaking process that may be beneficial to other filmmakers in streamlining the process.

As well as working as part of team, often I’ll work in a much more stripped back fashion as a Shooting PD (Producer/Director). This enables me as a filmmaker to talk to contributors who may be more vulnerable or access places that a larger crew cannot go. If this is the case, I think it’s important to still uphold a quality of production and try to work with available light and artificial light to create professional looking results, even if you are just a one-man band!
