What my review blog posts will cover

My review blog posts are reviews of equipment and tools I use on my jobs. Some equipment I use everyday whilst others are only used on occasion. Over the years, I’ve bought so much camera kit and over that time you learn what works and what doesn’t work. I personally find that Youtube and social media “influencers” often don’t actually use the equipment on a day to day basis, so their reviews are pretty useless really. I’d much rather hear how a real cameraman uses a camera on a day to day basis than what somebody thinks after 24 hours with a piece of equipment.

Other reviews on here will be new equipment when it’s released and what I think of that. Some reviews are about cameras, tripods or lights. I’ll try to keep them as concise as possible because I think at the end of the day, most cameramen just want to know how they can use it in their setup and don’t want to know the ins and outs of every product prior to purchase. A lot of the time, you want your own ability to make your mind up as to whether a product will work for you or not.
