As an accomplished freelance cameraman specialiding in broadcast work, my camerawork has made a significant impact across various platforms. It has been prominently showcased on leading channels such as the BBC and ITV. Furthermore, my contributions extend to the world of sports, with my work gracing international sports world feeds. In my role as a freelance cameraman, I have expertly captured branded content and corporate video projects for prestigious clients including Amazon, Heineken, Tesco, and EE.
In my capacity as a freelance Director of Photography (DoP), I have lit and filmed green screen content for renowned productions, including the BAFTA award-winning TV show hosted by Michael McIntyre, as well as a plethora of studio-based commercial projects. Additionally, as an experienced freelance cameraman, I currently hold CAA approval for drone flying.
As a dedicated freelance videographer with a diverse portfolio encompassing marketing, branded content, and social media projects. Notably, I've provided my services as a freelance videographer to esteemed charity organisations, including UNICEF, Macmillan Cancer Support, and the Dogs Trust, creating impactful content that serves their noble causes. In my role as a freelance videographer, I employ a range of camera systems. Currently, my preferred tools include the ARRI Amira, Sony FX6/FX9s, and Sony FS7. However, I'm well-versed in working with a wide array of major camera setups. To enhance storytelling, I leverage an extensive collection of lights, lenses, and grip equipment, ensuring that every project comes to life with precision and creativity.
In my role as a self-shooting PD, I've had the privilege of creating a diverse range of content, spanning the charity, PR, and news sectors. This multifaceted experience has honed my skills in both shooting and directing, as I seamlessly switch between these roles, bringing a wealth of creative direction to every project. A particular strength of mine is working with individuals who may feel camera-shy or vulnerable, as I specialise in extracting the best performances from contributors while ensuring their comfort and confidence in front of the lens. Furthermore, I bring over 15 years of editing expertise to the table, allowing me to expertly piece together the final edits, ensuring that the vision and message of each project are flawlessly realised.
